During your stay in Kona, you will be treated to gorgeous Hawaii weather. However, the weather can be a bit tricky depending where you are so here are some tips to make sure you have the best time possible.
If you are planning on visiting some of the higher elevations of the Big Island such as Mauna Kea, note that the temperatures can drop as much as 30 to 40 degrees so bring a jacket or a sweater. During the winter months, the evening temperatures can get down into the 50s. Combine that with the trade winds and it can be downright chilly.
More than likely, you are going to have typical, gorgeous weather on your vacation to Kona but a little preparedness will make a big difference in your comfort level during your stay.
