It's a scenic 5 minute walk along the head of the harbor to town, the park, library and amphitheater, shops, restaurants, windjammer sailing and a public beach. One block the other way down the street is the public landing, where you can launch a boat or just admire the view of the outer harbor and Penobscot Bay.
The house is light and spacious, simply furnished with an eclectic mix of comfortable antiques and contemporary furnishings. There is plenty of space to gather together or have some privacy.
