Historic Charm meets Modern Comfort at Gallery 1897. This newly renovated cottage features antique heart of pine flooring, stainless appliances, contemporary furniture and smart TV’s in both bedrooms. The open floor plan in the living area and kitchen allows everyone to enjoy time together while cooking or relaxing. Original features in this property are in place to shine. An old central fireplace (with an electric option on one side) sits in the middle of the living dining area making it feel like you have stepped back in time.
A small powder room is tucked under the stairwell for convenience downstairs. Original hardware opens the door to bright wallpaper, connecting the old with the new. Two large bedrooms upstairs, both featuring brand new king sized beds alongside antique pieces, share a large recently renovated bathroom with a walk-in shower. The perfect spot for a few days visit or even a longer stay.
The brand new kitchen has a full sized refrigerator, stove, oven, and dishwasher and all the necessities to enjoy wonderful meals and libations. Tucked behind the kitchen in the mudroom is a washer and dryer for your convenience. Enjoy the wonderful Lowcountry weather at one of the many sitting areas outside. The cute bistro set on the front porch or a table and chairs outside for al fresco dining.
Experience the magic of Beaufort from our artfully renovated vacation rental which sits just adjacent to The Workshop. The sister property was the original framing workshop where a craftsman created one of a kind frames for local art. The two properties share a courtyard space and back garden with firepit and gas grill. If availability permits, the two properties may be rented at the time for larger groups or families.
