Your own cottage in Kaanapali with beautiful sunsets and ocean views. Visitors to Maui are being welcomed back. Come and explore beautiful areas including Kaanapali, Napili Bay and Kapalua as well as the many small towns and sights the entire island has to offer (please be respectful and note that Lahaina itself is currently off-limits as it gradually recovers).
Relax and enjoy the ocean views and sunsets from the cottage 365 days a year. Ideally situated in a tropical setting, the cottage is only a 5 minute walk to one of the best beaches on Maui (locals favorite Airport beach) and close to many nearby restaurants and beach activities (swimming, snorkeling, paddleboard, scuba diving, outrigger canoe, etc.).
Our cottage isn't a high turnover short term rental property – it's an actual updated beach style cottage that we live in for most of the year, and includes furnishings, artwork and touches that will provide you with the feel of a real Hawaiian home.
Originally a traditional Hawaiian plantation style cottage, it has been updated with an open floor plan including high vaulted ceilings and plenty of windows to let the natural light in.
From the lanai you have ocean views and can see the neighboring islands of Molokai and Lanai. The sunsets are spectacular. Spend a quiet morning on your lanai with a cup of coffee listening to the native birds or reading a book, and in the evening enjoy cocktails and dinner on the lanai while watching the sunset.
There are two large bedrooms, each with new king-sized beds, and two bathrooms, both with walk-in showers. The cottage is air conditioned to keep you cool on those warm summer days and nights. The kitchen has been updated with many new appliances (stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, etc.) including the Vitamix blender that will come in handy when it’s time for those tropical cocktails.
For entertainment there’s a new 65” smart TV and music lovers will enjoy the multiple wireless Bluetooth speakers which are placed throughout the cottage just waiting for your latest playlist.
We’ve also added amenities including 100% bamboo bed linens and down pillows, along with spa grade towels for use during your stay.
The cottage is situated in a highly desirable area within our cottage community’s grounds. You are literally steps away from the pool, and there’s a private parking area for owners and guests close by that helps make accessing the cottage a breeze.
Spend your days at the beach or on excursions around the island and enjoy the many dining options Maui has to offer. And when you're done, come home and relax at your little piece of paradise!
Other things to note
Our cottage is located on the grounds of the international Colony Club, a vintage hawaiiana style cottage community comprised of 44 cottages spread throughout 10 acres of tropical landscaped grounds in Kaanapali. There are two pools on the grounds reserved for owners and guests.
While we all like to have fun, our cottage community is not a loud party place. We ask our guests to please respect the 10pm to 8am quiet time hours.
The cottages are fairly close in proximity to each other so you may occasionally hear other guests in nearby cottages, also the pool can get a bit noisy at times, but often you will have it all to yourselves.
