Positive: The property manager, Jessica, was so wonderful! She was so kind and understanding with us. The beds were soft. The kitchen is small but fully functional and made making meals easy and comfortable. There were pots, pans, serving dishes, tall and short glasses, wine glasses, and plastic cups. Along with silverwear and serving utensils, of course. I will say the hot water lasts a long time as well! Which is important. I had unfortunately had a severe incident with 2 Blue jelly fish. Also known as Portuguese man o' war. The water kept pushing them back into me when I would get them off. Totaling in 13 stings on one of my arms & both legs. The only thing that helped was the hot water, Ibuprofen, and resting. So the hot water gets an A++ with that experience at this cute little getaway! There were two boogie boards, 2 pairs of swimming flippers, 2 umbrellas for the beach, and some chairs for taking to the beach or wherever. A lovely little balcony with 2 chairs and a table. And inside in the closet, we found a child's sized life jacket. It is one that has the buckle that keeps them in it, between the legs. I do recommend a stay here. Pleasant, comfortable, beautiful view, close to many locations, including the zoo! The zoo is only 3 blocks away from this location. Dennys was 2 or 3 blocks away. There is a mini mart in the lobby area of the building. Along with a koi fish pond and a waterfall that goes into it. The fish are huge! The House Without a Key was definitely a pillar to our stay. I highly recommend a stay here as it is not far from this restaurant either. I do recommend getting a rental car to explore the island! There is a pool and park on the 6th floor of the building. We spent our time exploring or resting, so we did not visit it.

Negative: There was not a washer or dryer in the unit. I had originally booked this, believing it to have a washer and dryer. Unfortunately, it did not. The washer and dryer available was not of quality and was out of service on our floor. We opted for cleaning things by hand. Luckily, the kitchen sink is big enough for that. The elevator was quiet slow, and only 2 worked, it seemed. Also, if you did not press your floor number before the door closed, it would not recognize the floor you entered. Then you'd have to wait until it stops and the doors open again to push your number. The reason this was an issue was because this building has over 30 floors. We luckily were in the single digits for floor numbers. The wake-up calls from what seemed like a parade or something a couple of the days. I'm talking before 8 am. I was surprised at that at 7 am they were doing such noisy parades. But that's Hawaii, apparently lol. Early risers.
