The Property
The Ridge features gracious indoor and outdoor accommodations for relaxation, connection, and renewal. Rooms are uniquely decorated with modern and vintage furniture and artworks from your host's collection of contemporary art.
The Residence
The Residence is a sprawling territorial style hacienda with gracious shared spaces for hosting your stay in style. With two bedrooms and two suites, The House can accommodate a range of needs, while the large open plan of The Casita adds an additional bedroom two more bathrooms and gathering spaces.

Great Room
With soaring 12 foot high ceilings, a grand fireplace, and a floor to ceiling library, the Main House great room is filled with comfortable seating, a large TV, and space to host everything from formal gatherings to a cozy movie night.
Library
This cozy space features floor to ceiling book shelves, a fireplace, a television with live and streaming capability, and a hand crafted table designed by local furniture maker Dylan Weller. Browse the extensive contemporary art, design, and architecture library and enjoy the sweeping views into the Galisteo Basin out the French doors.
Kitchen
The Main House kitchen features a professional 48" eight burner range and double oven, ample counter space, a large island, two sinks, and all the appliances and kitchen essentials for home cooks and professional chefs alike. An eight person table in front of the kitchen fireplace provides space for casual dining, while a large table in the adjacent library offers seating for twelve for more formal meals.
Outdoor Living Space
Spring and Summer outdoor loving at The Ridge centers around a sparkling 30 foot pool. Enjoy warm days on a lounge chair under umbrellas. Cool off with a refreshing dip or exercise by swimming a few laps.
Nearby hammocks in the trees, a grill, and a large fire pit make this your outdoor living space for gathering and warm weather relaxation.
The pool is open and heated from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
The outdoor spaces at The Ridge also offer spots around the property to relax in the sun or the shade as you take in the sounds of nature and the views of the landscape. Highlights include a large furnished courtyard off the bedrooms in The House, a partially covered deck off the Library, an 800 square foot shaded portal off The Casita overlooking a bubbling stone fountain, and the main patio featuring a fire pit, grill, lounge seating, and umbrellas.
The Landscape
Situated on ten acres of mature Piñon Pines, Junipers, and flowering Yuccas, the property offers an authentic mountain desert experience. The land is home to dozens of native birds and attracts the likes of foxes, deer, coyotes, and the occasional road runner.
The Neighborhood
The Ridge is located down a unpaved rural road in a quiet neighborhood at base of the Santa Fe foothills. Here you'll find serenity and privacy along with great views into the Galisteo Basin and the sights and sounds of nature in the high desert.

For those booking five nights or more, enjoy a complimentary welcome breakfast on your first morning.
Housekeeping
Enjoy a complimentary mid-stay housekeeping refresh service for every 7 nights you spend with us. If your stay is shorter than 7 nights, we can arrange a housekeeping refresh service for $250 per cleaning.
Events Policy
Please note that if you plan to host an event with outside guests during your stay at The Ridge, there will be an additional contract and charge. Our Director of Guest Experiences is happy to discuss these details during your planning call.
Pool Information
The pool at The Ridge is open and heated from Memorial Day weekend (May) to Labor Day weekend (September). If you plan to visit during the winter season, it may be possible (weather permitting) to heat the pool for an additional $250 daily. Please inquire about this with your host.
Guests will be oriented on the use of the pool during check in. Each party will be asked to designate someone to be responsible for operating the mechanical pool cover. Every evening the pool must be covered and the poolside umbrellas must be closed. Use of the pool is at your own risk--the depth of the pool is between 3 and 6 feet, absolutely no diving is allowed.
Oversized Vehicle / RV Parking
We’re happy to discuss parking options for guests traveling with RVs, campers, or oversized vehicles. Please message us before arrival to confirm whether space and access are available.
Service Animal Courtesy Notification
We welcome guests traveling with service animals in accordance with VRBO’s accessibility policy.
As a courtesy, please send us a message after booking if you’ll be bringing a service animal so we can prepare the space appropriately (clear pathways, secure furnishings and rugs, etc.). No pet fee will be charged, and we do not require documentation. Any damage will be handled in accordance with VRBO's standard damage policy.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the large covered portals and patio around the fountain in front of The Casita as well as the 10 acres of grounds featuring mature junipers, Piñon trees, and native plants.
Other things to note
ADDITIONAL GUESTS & BED CONFIGURATIONS
The Ridge's five bedrooms and suites are ideal for 10 adult guests. Four of our rooms have split king size beds which can be separated to create two twin XL beds. Within our rooms there is also additional space for children or additional guests--these guests can be accommodated on daybeds, a trundle bed, and pull out sleeper chair. The Ridge also has two twin rollaway beds that can be added to rooms.
An additional guest charge of $250 will be charged for guests exceeding 10.
Please let us know if you would like the King bed split or if you would like to use the twin sleeper bed chair so we can provide the appropriate bedding.
