This spacious, enchanting, ocean bluff Old Hawaiian Plantation Home is perched on one-half acre above the beach at Kalihiwai Bay and the dazzling Pacific Ocean. The panoramic ocean, beach and mountain views are indisputably some of the most beautiful views on Kauai.
The bluff, hot tub and covered lanai all offer breathtaking views. Waterfalls can be seen in the distant Mount Namahana Range, especially after rainfall. Sunsets, rainbows and, depending on the season, dolphin and whale sightings can be seen while overlooking the picture perfect Kalihiwai Bay and River down below. The Bay is only about a three-minute drive down the road and the beautiful beach is great for body boarding and surfing. At the Kalihiwai River, adjacent to the beach, you can take advantage of kayaking and paddle boarding.
Completely remodeled, this air-conditioned vacation home is just perfect in all respects. It is very roomy and comfortable and filled with elegant original artwork, while the natural beauty provides spectacular views from almost every room.
Our charming Hawaiian Plantation-style home features four bedrooms and three baths on a quiet cul-de-sac on Kauai's wondrous North Shore. Close to award-winning golf courses, shops, restaurants, beaches, and adventures, the home provides splendid accommodations for families and groups.
Our house is one of the few vacation rentals that has air-conditioning which is really nice in the warmer months.
The kitchen features granite counter tops and oak cabinetry. All new stainless steel appliances including a french-door refrigerator; gas range; dishwasher; and microwave. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities you will need to feel at home and entertain your family and friends in style.
Two separate living areas plus a dining room make the inside spaces roomy and enjoyable for everyone.
Four lovely bedrooms include custom artwork, luxurious linens, new mattresses and pillows as well as ample closet space.
Master bedroom: Ocean views and king-sized bed.
Guest room 1: King-sized bed.
Guest room 2: Two full-sized beds.
Guest room 3: King-sized bed.
Two full baths are decorated in a pleasing island style. One with a stall shower and the other with a shower over tub. Both have new plush towels and lavish bath products.
A third bathroom is accessed from the back lanai and includes a half bath inside (toilet and sink) and an outdoor shower. Luxury bath product and linens provided.
Lush tropical landscaping adds to the wonder and privacy of this remarkable property. The yard includes a beautiful hardwood lanai encompassing an 8 person hot-tub, gas grill, and dining table for 6.
Beautiful handcrafted covered pavilion with new lounge furniture and fire pit is a perfect place to enjoy a view of the bay as well as migrating whales in wintertime.

Kalihiwai Bay is a short half mile drive where tourists and locals alike prize this beach for its beauty, serenity and famed surf break.
The Kilauea/Kalihiwai area is one of the premier, whale-watching locations on Kauai and seeing their spouts is an almost daily occurrence during winter months. Dolphins and turtles are also regular visitors to this coastline and even the rare Hawaiian Monk Seal has been spotted playing in the water below.
