Nature lovers rejoice! This three-bedroom home is situated on a cul-de-sac at the end of a private road at a forty-foot elevation overlooking Fox Island Marsh. A reverse-design home, the kitchen and living room are on the second floor.
Exterior steps from the drive lead to the living room slider on the second floor. The open and bright living room has a comfortable sectional, flat screen smart TV with direct TV cable channels and HBO (stream additional content with your own accounts) and lovely, ever-changing views of Fox Island Marsh.
The nicely-equipped kitchen is just off the living room. The kitchen has stainless appliances including a refrigerator, solid surface range, dishwasher, microwave and drip coffeemaker. A set of steps from the kitchen lead to the first floor hall.
A door from the living room leads to a hall with half bath and an open loft bedroom with platform queen bed. This loft bedroom is open to the family room below. Enjoy the beautiful view of Fox Island Marsh through the family room's 10' windows.
A spiral staircase leads to the family room below with comfortable seating including a full sleeper sofa for extra sleeping space, a flat screen smart TV, a kitchenette with range, refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave, dining table and stacked washer and dryer. There is also a bathroom with custom shower off the family room. This bright and open space with 15' ceilings and 10' windows is cozy and inviting, a wonderful space for any number of vacation activities. Early risers will enjoy an unobstructed view of the sunrise over the marsh.
The exterior door near the spiral staircase leads to the lower deck.
PLEASE NOTE: Access between the first floor family room and bedroom wing is via the deck (exterior only).
There are two bedrooms on the first floor. One bedroom has a queen bed, a desk if you can't get away from work emails and a slider to the deck. A hall leads to the bathroom with tub/shower and the second first floor bedroom with full (double) bed.
A staircase at the end of the hall (a bit steep with high risers) leads to the kitchen above. A foyer off the hall leads to the first floor exterior door.
Air conditioning: Four ductless split unit air conditioners, one in the living room on the second floor, one in the loft/family room and one in each of the two first floor bedrooms.
Even though the beach is close by, you might not want to leave the property! Feel the tension melt away in the hot tub or roast marshmallows and tell ghost stories around the fire pit in the evening, both looking out at the marsh.
The second floor deck at the front of the house has a table and two chairs, a lounger and an awning for shade on those super sunny days. The lower deck has an enclosed outdoor shower/rinsing station.
In additional to the hot tub and fire pit, there is a gas grill and picnic table with umbrella for cookouts.
A two-person kayak, a surfboard and a paddleboard, two oystering baskets and a clam rake for tenant use.
Birdwatchers don't forget your binoculars. An excellent location for birdwatching and dog walking on the trail around the southern tip of Indian Neck heights.
Less than a half a mile (0.4 mi) to Omaha Beach (2-min drive, 9 min-walk, 2-min bike ride). Just as close to Burton Baker Beach too.
Short drive to Wellfleet's ocean beaches, other bay beaches and fresh water ponds, live entertainment at WHAT, the Cape Cod Rail Trail for biking and walking, Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, the iconic Wellfleet Drive-In and Cape Cod National Seashore beaches, trails and sites. Hop on Route 6 and it is only a 10-minute drive to Truro or a 20-minute drive to Provincetown for more shopping, dining and fun.

Tenant further acknowledges and agrees that where Kinlin Grover Compass undertakes to re-let the property, the rental fee to be charged to the substitute tenant shall be in an amount to be determined in the reasonable discretion of Kinlin Grover Compass and Owner. Tenant agrees that any cancellation of the reservation, undertaken at any time, shall not be effective unless in writing and delivered to Kinlin Grover Compass.
