This unique Hawaii vacation rental is ideal for nature enthusiasts. The beautiful one-bedroom, one-bathroom eco-friendly off-grid home was built on an old lava flow out of three 40' cargo containers. The Hawaii retreat was built with quality and function in mind and there are three large sliding glass doors with views of the ocean and the old lava landscape. The rental even has large windows with great views of the Kīlauea Volcano.The home possesses so many cool features and the first wonderful piece of furniture is the highly functional sofa and ottoman that not only lifts up to provide storage but also converts to a king-size bed. Guests will also be drawn to the exquisite mango wood that was used for the countertops in the kitchen and bathroom. Once glampers see the pebble stone-floored bathroom they will again be amazed at the size. Inside, they'll find a kind petrified wood vessel sink sitting on a great piece of mango with a mango wood bordered mirror. Guests can also enjoy a rain shower in the large shower enclosure before climbing on the comfy mattresses on the bunk bed that was custom made by a local Hawaiian. Glampers have complete private access to this Hawaii retreat but guests should note that the building is actually comprised of two homes. The other is a three-bedroom, one-bathroom home which can also be rented should guests have a larger group.
